MSD (Merck Sharpe Dome) Japan has a long-standing history as one of the country’s premier pharmaceutical companies. When they announced they were changing their entire organization over to the Agile way of working to embrace new ways of collaborating, changing traditional mindsets and shifting management behavior, it was big news. This kind of transformation would require a unique and breakthrough brand message that would signal to the company—and to the world—that MSD is on the cusp of taking a giant leap into the future.
So in stepped Nukleus, a branding company built on the Agile model, to project the news and create and launch a brand identity that embodied this exciting transformation and the spirit of Agile values such as empowerment, experimentation, sharing and learning. Creating company-wide excitement, intrigue and consensus was the goal, and Nukleus enabled MSD Japan to score big.
